Kings Hill Cycling Weekend

Labor Day Weekend, September 1-3, 2001

Bring the whole family, both cyclists and non-cyclists, to Kings Hill Scenic Byway for a three-day weekend of biking, hiking, camping and socializing.  There's something for everyone on this "Members Only" ride.

For the mountain biker, an extensive network of trails is available to ride, from Forest Service roads to single track.  Group mountain bike rides will be planned during the weekend.  However, if you want to venture out on your own, maps of the trails will be available.wpe2.jpg (41513 bytes)

For those that prefer to ride the highways, the Kings Hill Scenic Byway is SCENIC, yet with little traffic.  You can bicycle through the Little Belt Mountains from White Sulphur Springs (elevation 5045'), pass Showdown Ski Area, over Kings Hills Pass (elevation 7393'), and along Belt Creek to Monarch.

And for the non-cyclist in your family, there's fishing in Belt Creek, hiking to the lookout tower on Porphry Peak or to Memorial Falls, four-wheeling on the Forest Service Roads, relaxing in camp, or making the short trip to White Sulphur Springs for a soak in the hot springs.
