Here are all the known cycling events and upcoming rides in the area.  Keep checking back for updates, additions and corrections.  The ride/event coordinator can be contacted for more specifics.

Wednesday Night Show 'N Go Road Rides
Relaxed pace, 15 to 20-mile road rides leaving from Four Georgians Elementary School at 7p.m..  Refreshments and support will be available at the halfway point during each ride.  Beginning bicyclists are more then welcomed as well as seasoned cyclists.

May 2 through August 8... leave at 7p.m.
August 15, 22 and 29... leave at 6 p.m.
No scheduled ride on July 4.

Monday Nights
All Summer
Monday Night Mountain Bike Rides
Relaxed pace, two-hour mountain bike rides on local mountain bike trails around Helena.  Rides leave from the patio of the Lewis & Clark Library at 6:30 p.m.  Great rides to help improve your mountain biking skills.

May 14 through July 30... leave at 6:30 p.m.
August 6 through 27... leave at 6 p.m.

June 9, Saturday Progressive Dinner Ride
MEMBERS ONLY RIDE... A night of riding, dining, riding, dining, riding, dining, and socializing.  Always a club favorite!

Meet at Four Georgians Elementary School on Custer Ave. at 3 p.m.  Everyone is asked to bring a dish for one of the courses.  There will be a vehicle at the school to transport your dish to the appropriate location.

June 16, Saturday Scratch Gravels Mountain Bike Ride
Join club president, Mark Reinsel, as he leads us along his favorite trails in the Scratch Gravels.  Meet at the Reinsel residence, 1030 Vallejo, at 9 a.m. for this 13-mile ride.   Mark describes the ride as fun with a 1,000-foot elevation gain and a few technical areas.

June 23, Saturday Priest Pass Mountain Bike Ride
Mountain bike from the backside of Great Divide Ski area over Priest Pass.  Approximately 30 miles.  Meet at Fireside Coffee, 1446 Euclid, at 9 a.m. to carpool to trailhead.

June 26, Tuesday Club Meeting and Potluck
We're having a potluck dinner with guest speakers - Capt. Lew, Capt. Bill, and Tod Rodger.  The speakers will be discussing their bicycle touring adventures along the Lewis & Clark Trail.  Those wanting to bicycle to Grizzly Garden are meeting at the library at 6:30 p.m.  A vehicle will be available to transport your potluck dish.

The potluck will start at 7 p.m. at Grizzly Garden, 2000 Grizzly Gulch (3.5 miles from library).

July 7, Saturday Hiawatha Route - The Tunnels Ride
MEMBERS ONLY RIDE... This is a ride for the whole family!  Bicycle through nine tunnels and over seven former railroad trestles on this scenic Rails-to-Trails ride on the Montana-Idaho border.

July 7-8, Saturday-Sunday Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic (STP)
Cycle 200 miles in one or two days.

July 14, Saturday Over to Boulder on the Shoulder
This 60-mile road ride features one strenuous climb both coming and going.  Meet at the Kmart parking lot at 8 a.m.

Bike either 100 miles or 100 kilometers during this Helena Bicycle Club annual event.

July 28, Saturday Historical Helena Ride
Visit some of Helena's historical landmarks on this guided bicycle tour with frequent stops and lunch.  Meet at 10 a.m. at the Lewis & Clark Library patio.

August 4, Saturday Willard Creek  Mountain Bike Ride
12-mile loop.  Rolling terrain with combination of Forest Service roads and singletrack.  Meet at Hugo's Pizza in Montana City at 8 a.m.

August 10-11, Saturday-Sunday Ride Seattle to Vancouver & Party (RSVP)
Bike 183 miles (105 miles on day 1; 78 miles on day 2).

August 11, Saturday Minnehaha Loop Mountain Bike Ride
This 16-mile loop is the mountain biker's mini double divide ride.  A combination of Forest Service roads, doubletrack and singletrack.  Meet at Moose Creek Campground (about 4 miles down road to Rimini) at 8 a.m.

Bring your camping gear and stay the night... many other mountain biking trails leave from the same campground.

August 18, Saturday Avon Pie Ride
60-mile roundtrip ride from Helena to Avon over MacDonald for a slice of pie. Meet at Kmart parking lot at 8 a.m.

Enjoy two days of cycling 139 miles through rolling hills, tranquil valleys and challenging mountain passes.

MEMBERS ONLY RIDE... Bring the whole family, both cyclists and non-cyclists, to Kings Hill Scenic Byway for a weekend of biking, hiking, camping, and socializing.

September 8, Saturday Blackfoot Meadows
The perfect mountain bike ride for a fall day... approximately 12 miles in length.  Meeting time and location yet to be determined.
